A roundtable designed to bring together sustainability teams from across sectors to explore how AI use can enhance core sustainability functions. Through monthly expert-facilitated sessions, participants will exchange ideas, share lessons, and build capacity in a trusted, pre-competitive space.
Key benefits of the working group include:
- Exchange ideas, lessons learned, and challenges around the use of AI in sustainability activities.
- Discover and better understand emerging AI tools, use cases, and opportunities.
- Explore how to enhance efficiency and productivity for sustainability team activities, to enable more progress with limited resources and to focus time most strategically.
- Connect with a cross-sector network of sustainability leaders and experts exploring similar opportunities in a private, safe space.
The roundtable will launch in January 2026 and last through December 2026, with 11 monthly online sessions (skipping August). BSR will facilitate a member webinar in October 2025 and an introductory discussion in December 2025 to give those interested a preview of the approach.

Opportunities range in cost, length of commitment, and scope of focus, depending on the goals of the group. Participation in these opportunities may not be included in your BSR membership, though in some cases MEOs may be applied.
