This event is at capacity. Start your Climate Week NYC off right with an action-oriented session with BSR's Climate and Nature team. Join us for a short, two-hour session to uncover how integrating nature and people into your mitigation and adaptation efforts can improve your company's overall strategy.
Agenda
- Climate Transition Plans (CTPs) Today and Tomorrow: Experts and peers will unpack the current CTP disclosure landscape, share practical implementation tips, and discuss future business implications.
- Climate Scenarios Workshop: With the CTP panel fresh in our heads, we will collaborate with peers across sectors. We will guide you through a workshop on how to integrate nature-related impacts and dependencies into climate scenario analyses throughout your own value chains.
- Plenary: After you test different approaches, we will close out the afternoon and share emerging cross-sector pathways for nature-climate integration.
- Meet with Us: Join us after the joint session and for 1-1's with BSR's Climate and Nature team to discuss your priorities.
Key Objectives
- Collect key insights on the first wave of CTP disclosures and a glimpse into tomorrow’s landscape that embeds climate, nature, and people.
- Gain practical, sector-specific guidance on integrating nature-related impacts into climate scenario tools that can inform decisions related to business risk and resilience.
The joint session is designed for professionals working on climate, nature, sustainability, or strategy who want to understand how CTPs and scenarios can strengthen their companies' strategies. This event is designed for representatives from large companies, non-profit organizations, government, and academic institutions. This event will be conducted under Chatham House Rule.
